Reno Hot Air Balloon Races

Early friday September the 8th mom got up at 2:30am to get ready to take us to Reno hot air ballon races. we went to the Reno hot air balloon races . We all packed and loaded the car the night before with blankets and food. So all we had to do was get up potty and load up in the car. We met up with our friends at 3:15am and headed up to Reno to see the balloons.  Once there we meet up with some more friends. 

When we got there and were looking for a place to sit some people setting up a balloon for dawn partol said that we could sit by there them as part of their group. We were pretty lucky and had a really up close show. Some of the event people even told us that if we were part of the crew we could be there. But the people said we were, so we could stay. While we were sitting there a crew member from another balloon came over and asked if some of us could help them set up.
 They were short handed. SP and CJ got right up to help. They got to pull the balloon tight. The balloon was almost picking them up off the ground. It was really cool. They gave them a collectors pin for helping. Then we watch the glow show and dawn patrol. The glow show was the best part, i love when the lights flash to the music. 
After that we walked around getting the balloon cards. I think we all got about 25 to 30 cards.

🔥🦔The Seven Wonders and Fire Wave Loop🔥

Hey, JJ here we are at Valley of Fire State Park. We have been here for almost a week. I am going to tell you about a really cool trail that we did . It was the 7 wounders and fire wave loop trail. It's 2.3 miles long It  was really cool.  Just a little ways down the trail there was a really cool wave of color on the rock. The colors were white, red, purple, and a lot more. Then we arrived at some small slot canyons . We did poses where our hands are on one side and our feet are on the other side. I was on top SP was under me MJ was under him and ET was on the ground. Farther down the trail there is the fire wave. It is all red with white  stripes. I didnt like it as much as the first wave because it didnt have as many colors.(see picture)   I thought the trail was really fun, I would definitely do it again.  JJ

🦔Dantes Peak & Zabriskies Point

Dantes peak sunset Have you ever watched the sunset before? Have you ever watched the full moon rise before? What about at the same time? We were lucky enough to do this.  The sun set Dantes Peak On our Last trip to Death Valley we did a hike called Dantes peak to see the  sunset and the full moon rise.  Sun set - Bad Water's below First off we had to drive up as high as we could. The road was pretty steep at a 15% grade. Once we made it to the top and parked, we walked all around to see the different views. We saw some really cool views of Bad Water's salt flats. Than we hiked up the mountain to the highest peak to find a spot to watch the sunset. The salt flats look so big from where we were. We found the perfect spot overlooking the flats . I found the perfect rock to sit on to watch the sunset in the West and the full moon rise in the East.The sunset was so pretty. It was really neat to watch the last rays of the sun set.
