🦔 Year of the Rabbit 2023

 It's Chinese new year. 

This year 2023 is year of the Rabbit 🐇 


I was born in 2011, that is also the year of the Water Rabbit 🐇 also but it was year of the Metal Rabbit 🐇. 

The Rabbit is believed to be the luckiest of the 12 animals to be born under and considered a gentle animal that thinks before acting. 

The Rabbit is a symbol of longevity, peace, and prosperity in Chinese culture. 2023 is predicted to be a year of hope. The luckiest Chinese zodiac signs in 2023 are oxes, tigers (mom is year of the tiger) and snakes (SP is year of the snake). So we should have lots of luck in our family this year. 

Dad is year of the Rooster 🐓 

Mom is year of the Tiger 🐅 

Me JJ I'm year of the Rabbit 🐇 

SP is year of the snake 🐍 

MJ is  year of the monkey  🐒 

ET is year of the Pig 🐖

🔥🦔The Seven Wonders and Fire Wave Loop🔥

Hey, JJ here we are at Valley of Fire State Park. We have been here for almost a week. I am going to tell you about a really cool trail that we did . It was the 7 wounders and fire wave loop trail. It's 2.3 miles long It  was really cool.  Just a little ways down the trail there was a really cool wave of color on the rock. The colors were white, red, purple, and a lot more. Then we arrived at some small slot canyons . We did poses where our hands are on one side and our feet are on the other side. I was on top SP was under me MJ was under him and ET was on the ground. Farther down the trail there is the fire wave. It is all red with white  stripes. I didnt like it as much as the first wave because it didnt have as many colors.(see picture)   I thought the trail was really fun, I would definitely do it again.  JJ

🦔Dantes Peak & Zabriskies Point

Dantes peak sunset Have you ever watched the sunset before? Have you ever watched the full moon rise before? What about at the same time? We were lucky enough to do this.  The sun set Dantes Peak On our Last trip to Death Valley we did a hike called Dantes peak to see the  sunset and the full moon rise.  Sun set - Bad Water's below First off we had to drive up as high as we could. The road was pretty steep at a 15% grade. Once we made it to the top and parked, we walked all around to see the different views. We saw some really cool views of Bad Water's salt flats. Than we hiked up the mountain to the highest peak to find a spot to watch the sunset. The salt flats look so big from where we were. We found the perfect spot overlooking the flats . I found the perfect rock to sit on to watch the sunset in the West and the full moon rise in the East.The sunset was so pretty. It was really neat to watch the last rays of the sun set.
