🦔Happy New Years 2023

Happy new years!!!

We had the best last day of 2022 and a great  kick off day to 2023.


Here in northern NV we got  a huge storm it started off raining for hours then turned to snow ❄️.we got 6 inches of snow!!

What do you do when you get so much snow in one afternoon????

You go sledding!!!!

We don't sled like normal people. We sled behind the side by side. We have two metal sleds that we strap to the back and Dad pulls us around the yard and the neighborhood.  It's so much fun.

Yesterday it was snowing when  we were sledding. So that made our tracks  disappear as we were making them. Everything was buried in snow.  Dad would find bumps and go fast over them making us jump. It is amazing to jump the sleds. 


Today Mom rode on the sleds with us. I rode on on top of her back. It was amazing. I slipped a little when we went up hills so I had to wiggle back up her back. Her face was covered in the snow and she couldn't see anything.  We all laughed at her.


It was ET first time to go on the sleds. 

I love to go sledding. I know all of my family does too. 



We lost power around 6PM on 12/31/22 and didn't get power back until 1/03/23 ar 3:30AM.

🔥🦔The Seven Wonders and Fire Wave Loop🔥

Hey, JJ here we are at Valley of Fire State Park. We have been here for almost a week. I am going to tell you about a really cool trail that we did . It was the 7 wounders and fire wave loop trail. It's 2.3 miles long It  was really cool.  Just a little ways down the trail there was a really cool wave of color on the rock. The colors were white, red, purple, and a lot more. Then we arrived at some small slot canyons . We did poses where our hands are on one side and our feet are on the other side. I was on top SP was under me MJ was under him and ET was on the ground. Farther down the trail there is the fire wave. It is all red with white  stripes. I didnt like it as much as the first wave because it didnt have as many colors.(see picture)   I thought the trail was really fun, I would definitely do it again.  JJ

🦔Dantes Peak & Zabriskies Point

Dantes peak sunset Have you ever watched the sunset before? Have you ever watched the full moon rise before? What about at the same time? We were lucky enough to do this.  The sun set Dantes Peak On our Last trip to Death Valley we did a hike called Dantes peak to see the  sunset and the full moon rise.  Sun set - Bad Water's below First off we had to drive up as high as we could. The road was pretty steep at a 15% grade. Once we made it to the top and parked, we walked all around to see the different views. We saw some really cool views of Bad Water's salt flats. Than we hiked up the mountain to the highest peak to find a spot to watch the sunset. The salt flats look so big from where we were. We found the perfect spot overlooking the flats . I found the perfect rock to sit on to watch the sunset in the West and the full moon rise in the East.The sunset was so pretty. It was really neat to watch the last rays of the sun set.
